Add curb appeal to your home

Getting ready for the spring real estate market? Start now by learning what you can do to help your home’s curb appeal. First impressions matter. They just do. So don’t lose out on a potential buyer before they’ve even stepped foot in your door. My top 5 tips for easy curb appeal upgrades: 1. New house numbers. This is simple, and cheap! All kinds of cool house numbers can be found at your local hardware store, or if you’re feeling funky have a look at house numbers on Etsy 2.Clean your gutters. 3. If your home is dirty… wash it!! Amazing what a little power wash can do to siding to make it look fresh and clean. 4. Paint your front door. If your front door is really bad, consider replacing it. This is the FIRST thing a potential buyer sees as they walk through your home. 5. Landscaping. I’m not saying go out and spend a fortune. If you already have landscaping, make sure it’s trimmed and weeds removed. Never got around to planting those flowers? No worries, get a couple of big pots and fill with vibrant flowers. In fact if you go to a local florist like my personal favorite Boesen, and they will pot your flowers of choice for you or you can purchase one already done. So what’s an easy way to add curb appeal without spending a fortune? Check out our “Curb Appeals” Pinterest Board for all kinds of inspiration and ideas.
