You need to know that we are an abstract state. This is a full and complete documentation of everything filed with public record that relates to your property. If you own an older home it is super interesting to go back through the history of every transaction that has happened on your property. Take a look!

When it comes time to sell you need to have your abstract. Don’t worry, 9 out of 10 of my clients don’t know where it is when initially asked. Once we talk through things we can usually identify it’s location pretty easily. But if you are at a loss I am pretty good at tracking them down.
